Spring Show
Normally held arround Easter the speciallities of the spring show are the Dafodills/Narcisi. With the first splash of colour after winter this show seems to make every smile.
There are 7 sections in the show including a general flow section for the other early flowers like Tulips, Hyacinths, Azalea, Rhododendrons as well as a Childrens section, Domestic section and much more.
Summer Show
By the middle of Summer, when this show is held, the Roses, Delphiniums and Sweet Peas are in full bloom providing us with a fantastic show of colour and sents.
Friut and Vegetables are starting to come on with early Potatoes, Lettuce, Rhubarb, Broad Beans, Strawberries and Currants to name a few.
There are 8 sections in the show with Domestic, Arts and Crafts, Children and Flower Arranging, so why not have a go, who knows you may get bitten by the bug !
Autumn Show
At the end of the Summer or in early Autumn, this show hosts the "Inter Allotments Competition" being a display of fruit and vegetables. The competition is fierce and the displays fabulous.
The flower sections include Dahlias, Chrysanthemums and Roses.10 Sections in total with the Fruit and Vegetable tables full to overflow.
One of the highlights is the Largest Pumpkin class. Seeing is believing, but the size of the pumpkins often beggar belief !
